Reasons to actually talk to a counselor-
Non transfer student first meeting.
Waiver for credit hours over 6 classes or 18 credit semester.
Applying for graduation.
To schedule an appointment with a counselor, visit MyFIU.edu.
1) Under Academic planning click on My_eAdvisor Student Dashboard
2) Click on the Appointment Request Tab
3) Make sure the Request an appointment with my adviser bubble in highlighted next to my appointments.
4) From here you can find a locate a time assigned adviser has free and that works best for you. Note, you may choose between location of campus and an in person vs telephone meeting.
